What started with rafting and a love of the outdoors has grown into one of Kenya’s leading adventure companies. Today, Savage Wilderness delivers rafting, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, school programmes, expeditions, team building and outdoor education across the country.
The company is now run by the next generation of the Savage family, supported by an experienced Kenyan team of instructors, guides and operational staff.
For more than 35 years, we have helped people explore Kenya, challenge themselves and experience the outdoors in a safe, professional and memorable way.
Savage Wilderness has been creating outdoor adventures in Kenya since 1990. From our base in Sagana, we operate across the country, delivering rafting, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, expeditions, school programmes, team building and outdoor education. Our strength comes from more than 35 years of experience and a skilled Kenyan team with deep local knowledge. Our instructors, guides and operations staff understand the environments we work in and the planning needed to deliver safe, professional and memorable experiences. Sagana is our home, but Kenya is our playground.
